INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS AND SOCIAL STUDIES : A New Way of Learning

International Institute of Business and Social Studies is a recognised registered Non-government Educational and Training Institute in Australia. Its trading name is IIBASS. It is established in Melbourne in 2006 to provide educational and training services throughout the world including research and consultancy services in Business and Social Service Areas.

Services

IIBASS provides services through the following dedicated divisions:

  • Division of Statistics and Mathematics
  • Division of Business
  • Division of Accounting and Financial Studies
  • Division of Logistics & Transportation
  • Division of Economics
  • Division of Computer Science & Information Systems
  • Division of Social Studies
  • Division of Women’s Studies
  • Division of Social Welfare and Community Services

Each of the above Divisions of IIBASS offers: Teaching & Training, Research & Investigation, and Consultancy Services. Note that Division of Social Welfare and Community Services is incorporated as a ‘not for profit’ Division within the organisation.

Functions of IIBASS

At present, IIBASS offers the following degree, diploma and certificate courses.

  • Master Degree (MBA; M. Stats)
  • Advanced Diploma
  • Diploma, and
  • Certificate courses

At appropriate levels of each of the courses, students have the flexibility to transfer to another course or exit with one of the awards. Students can also enrol in any one of the above Certificate or Diploma courses separately. They can also be awarded a Master’s degree after completing several approved Certificate and Diploma courses in an appropriate discipline.

Research

IIBASS designs various questionnaires and collect data from different business and social science areas. But, the main tasks are to undertake theoretical and empirical research projects to using existing methodologies and to develop new theories, using real data to solve various business, economics, trade, logistics, social and statistical problems, and to assist taking accurate strategic business decisions.

Consultancy

Consultancy service ranges from data collection and processing, application of appropriate statistical methods for data analysis and policy recommendations, including evaluation of implemented policies at various local, state, national and international levels.
